Thanks Carrie for watching E&M so I could run on Mondays. Thanks Monica for watching them on Wednesdays.
Thanks Mom for watching them on Saturdays (early).
Thanks Eli and Maggie for cheering me on.
Thanks Dad for bringing more cow bell.
School has officially started for Eli! Before today we met his teacher a couple of times, toured the school, had our review/evaluation, and practiced lining up at the right door. However, Eli was still a little nervous, but went right in when the bell range with a big smile. He loved looking around and seeing all the other "5 year olds" going to the big school too. Friends always make things much more fun.
We had a great night celebrating Maggie's birthday. Eli and I gave her a bike so she could start learning to ride with us. She also received many great gifts from family & friends - lots of sparkles, pink, and dress up. Great Grandma & Grandpa gave her a piggy bank and a few special coins to start her savings. It's always a fun time BBQing and playing games with our family at Grandma's house. Happy Birthday Maggie!

We wanted to squeeze one more activity in before school officially started, so we headed up to This Is The Place park for a little pioneer experience. We love spending time with cousins - especially when it is to learn how to wash clothes, iron, beat rugs, make arrow heads, stamp leather and comb wool.
