Happy Father's Day!

So grateful to have a wonderful Father and Grandfather to celebrate this Father's Day. Eli and Maggie are truly blessed to have such amazing examples - thank you!

Swimming Lessons

Summer started off as usual with swimming lessons. Eli and Maggie did great in their classes and will definitely be ready for swimming at the lake!

Carnival!

We were invited to a local carnival with Monica and kids before one of Eli's baseball games. So glad we were able to squeeze it in...the Sumo Wrestling pictures of Eli and Bronson are the best! Maggie and Emory had a great time on the ponies and bounce house. We will definitely have to go again next year.

Memorial Day Weekend Cruise

Eli got to take his first solo cruise on the golf cart at the lake this Memorial Day weekend. Grandpa gave him lessons in turning it on, going in reverse, and parking. As expected, Eli had no trouble hitting the gas and taking off (he's been begging to for years). Overall he did a great job - if you don't count the new scratch on Grandpa's front truck bumper that matches the golf cart paint.

For this first time in many years we also experienced snow when we woke up. Even though we tried to keep the kids occupied with some fun projects inside, they didn't last long before they were outside playing - snow wasn't a problem for them!

Grandpa Cupcakes

We surprised Grandpa by showing up to his office with a couple of Vintage Cupcakes (our new favorite local treat) for his Birthday. Happy Birthday Dad!

Eli's Last Day of 1st Grade

Eli's teacher invited the parents to an award ceremony for her 1st Grade Class the last day of school. Each student received their workbook and awards for areas they had high achievement in. Eli got to stand there with his arms wide open while Mrs. Roche piled EIGHT awards into his arms. He did great in all subjects, then won "Best Penmanship" for his class. Eli had a fun year with a wonderful teacher and classmates. They loved signing their friend's books after the presentation.
