Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a great Thanksgiving this year with many members of the Miller family. It's always fun to celebrate at Grandma & Grandma's house with all of the favorite foods I had growing up. I love seeing Eli & Maggie enjoying the same traditions and having the opportunity to experience them as well with their Great Grandma & Grandpa.

After dinner, our turkey craft, and Grandma's turkey jokes (with football in the background), the kids organized a special Thanksgiving play. It included a couple of Indians who attacked a family of Pilgrims and ate them. Maggie's death scene was really dramatic, despite the giggles.

Eli's Lost Tooth

The Tooth Fairy got to visit for the first time last night! This was actually Eli's 3rd lost tooth, but the 1st two were at Disneyland and he could not find them once they fell out. The next couple will be close behind...all on top and in the front. As Eli explained, "he'll just have to start practicing using his molars more."

Oh ya, did I mention he was trying to grow "Zach & Cody" hair? I thought I'd clarify this in case you were confused with the Bieber look he seems to be sporting.

West Haven Night at The Treehouse

The Treehouse Museum is one of our favorite places to visit. They hosted a special night for Eli's school with different activities and plays. Eli was excited to play the part of "rabbit" in their story book performance, and Maggie was excited to get her face painted again.

Trick-or-Treating

We all met up and Grandma & Grandpa H's house for our traditional bowl of chili before heading out. Because of rain, we ended up in a few different places but still made it home with bags overflowing with candy.

Frightmares!

What better way to end a day full of witches than with a night at Frightmares? We love Lagoon. So glad we could fit one more night of it in!

Breakfast with The Witches

Did I mention that our family loves Halloween? This year we decided to add to our month long celebration a day at Gardner Village to have breakfast with the witches. The kids had a great time meeting the different witches at the event (they especially liked Crazy Cora) and watching them perform. After breakfast we walked through the village to see the different witches on display and got our faces painted.
