High Tech Room Security
Maggie decided to up the game with a pass code system, including a custom Hello Kitty button, to access her room now (apparently warning signs weren't working). Fortunately she gave me the code and told me she also programmed it so "Moms can just push enter" if I need to open the door. I guess she's seen me struggle more than a few times with the garage door buttons and decided I needed a more simplified approach.

Flat Stanley's Travels
Eli's class made their own "Flat Stanley" to send into the world. It was a great project and he was so exited to send Stanley to visit Aunt Gosia in Szczecin, Poland to start his adventure. From there Stanley traveled to London, England - North Wales, UK - and Shetland, Scotland - before returning home. Thanks to all who hosted Stanley and took him to theaters, parks, museums, Buckingham Palace, castles, and the Baltic Sea. Eli was so excited to get the postcards and then the journal with all his adventure details.

Kindergarten Round-up!
Maggie attended her Kindergarten Round-up today and loved it. She is excited about going to "Eli's big kid school" and has been given a play-by-play description from Eli about what to expect. Maggie is hoping to get Mrs. Bair like Eli (she comes highly recommended by him, and told Maggie she even growls like a "Bear" when she gets angry...and that it is really cool). It makes me sad to think my "Magadoodlebop" is already this old, but after watching her easily read all the crayon labels on the sheet they gave them to color, I know she is more than ready.
